This afternoon we had to pick up a car in Queretaro. We went downtown and it was decorated for Christmas. My pictures are going to be probably out of order from our trip but I am going to be putting up pictures that I have now on my phone, hope you enjoy!

Christmas shopping!

Today I am going to be Christmas shopping! I usually have most of my shopping done by now but for some reason this year I am so behind. I am thinking its because I am married to a procrastinator! I actually like to go Christmas shopping it gets me ready for the upcoming celebration of Christ's birth. It gives me joy to give gifts to others and think about something they would love to open on Christmas day! But now that I am in a bigger city it feels even more festive! So wish me luck that I can find what I am looking for today haha!

Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I missed having my family around the dinner table this year but it was nice to have some quality time with my hubby! I made a fresh apple pie this year which was a score with my husband it was gone the next day!!! Even though it took double the time because something is not right with my oven it turned out so yummy and to make your mouths water here is a picture :)

Halloween!

 Here are some Halloween silly pictures. We searched and searched for a pair costume but no luck. We decided we could be Batman and Robin but could only find a Robin suit and Wolverine. So that is what we were...We went to a dance studio for a Halloween Costume/Dance party. If you have ever seen the movie "Dance with Me" with Chayanne and Vanessa Williams when they have a dance party at their studio you will know how it was like, I felt like I was in that movie haha. Anyways, here are some shots of us in the ally way which seems like a good place to take pictures of superheros!

Julieta Venegas Concert!

So finally I am posting my pictures from weeks ago. We went to the Julieta Venegas concert which was awesome! The music was really good live and she had an awesome band. Her opening act was Ximena Sariñana, she was also pretty good...but not as good as JULIETA!

My birthday!

So I turned 25 this week. It actually kind of hit me weird. I feel older being 25 rather than 24, it's almost sad! But I had a really nice day. I woke up to my husband playing the song they play for birthdays in Mexico early and he surprised me with movie tickets to The Help and a picture with an iPhone saying it was on its way. I was so excited!!! That night we went for dinner, the movie and of course ice cream! Overall it was a nice day celebrating with my hubby!... And now I can post from my phone!

I love wearing scarves! Today I wore one to work but as I was getting ready I got online to see if there were any other ways to wear it than just the 2 basic ways I wear it now. Julieta Venegas!

Finally someone I want to see is coming to my area for a concert. One of my favorite latin singers is Julieta Venegas. We are going to see her in concert on Sunday!!!  So, for you who have no idea who Julieta is I have posted a few of her songs on this post so you can check her out and I am sure I will be posting my own photos and possibly videos next week :)! These videos are live so they do sound a bit different than the ones on her CDs but they are still pretty good, Hope you like!!!!

Yosemite Park

Last weekend we went to Yosemite Park. We were asked by a friend to go camp with her and a friend.  They were going to go on a hike on Saturday up to Glacier Point. We have been wanting to go to Yosemite since we got to Cali but we haven't had a chance to go. I was really excited to go not only because I heard how great Yosemite was but also because our friend had made reservations for a campsite in the park and I knew that this would be Antonio's first time sleeping in a tent and camping in general. We had talked about going a few times to Colorado but never did and we also did not own a tent either...so we bought a tent and brought out our coolers. We were able to sleep very well because our tent fit our queen size air mattress that we bought when we didn't have a bed to sleep in when we moved to our new apartment. We went on a 13 mile hike. On the way up we went on a trail called "4 mile trail" and "Panorama" down. It was pretty intense at times but the views throughout the hike and when we got to the top it was so worth it. It took us about all day to do the whole hike. Since it had snowed 4-5 days before we got there about 10in there was snow on the trail at times which got packed down by all the hikers which made it pretty icy at times which was kinda scary if you think about it, we could have slipped and rolled down the mountain. As I look through the pictures it just doesn't show how big and how beautiful it really was. It was amazing! So, if any of you are coming to visit us (wink, wink!) we should go together, it's only about 3.5 hours away from where we live. It was a great trip and we had such a great time!!!! Can't wait to go again!

Antonio carrying both of our bags for awhile, everyone kept saying he was like a machine, we were all huffing and puffing after the first few hours of going up hill and he was just full of energy. He insisted that he should carry my bag for awhile plus his camera backpack!!!

This was a huge rock, I know it's hard to see but it seems like we couldn't even fit 1/4 of the rock in our lense!
